In the five minutes I just spent scrolling on Instagram, I learned that…

1. Trump still refuses to release the Epstein files (shocker).
2. They brutally slaughtered 246 pilot whales dolphins in the faroe island, just for funsies.
3. Thousands of Palestinian children are suffering from extreme hunger, and will be dead within the week, while I sit here sipping my latte.
4. Amazon is having a sale, where extremely overpriced makeup and clothes are slightly less overpriced…but only if you buy now.
5. They just demolished an entire local beach town, including the limestone cliff it was built on, to build, yet another, day club on the island I used to call home, Bali. 
6. The average human consumes “a credit card per week” in microplastics, but the Break Free From Plastic Bill hasn’t even gotten to the floor for a vote because the Plastics Lobby has spent $198.6 million buying off politicians.
7. Cancer is rising…but the ‘experts’ claim they don’t know why.

I know I’m not the only one who’s felt utterly powerless in the face of it all. 

We wish we could do something, but we tell ourselves, “I’m only one person and the problems are so big.”

Wanna know a secret, love dove?

You are so much more powerful than you’ve been led to believe.

In fact, there has never been a time in the history of civilization when everyday people like you and I have had more power than we do today.  

Think about it– 

• What is a corporation without the people who buy from it?  
• What is a government without the people it governs?  
• What is the media without the people who consume the news? 

We aren’t just helpless actors in the system, we are the system.  

And the system cannot exist without our participation. 

We vote for the world we want to see 

• with every dollar we spend
• every action we take
• every minute we’re scrolling on social media 
• every news article we consume 
• every time we use our voice to shine a light on injustice 
• and every time we actively resist 

And, we are showing the world what we are willing to tolerate, every time we turn a blind eye and do nothing in the face of injustice, corruption and exploitation.   

Why do you think they spend so much time trying to divide us against each other?   

• When we are divided, we are powerless.  
• When we are afraid, we’re 10X more likely to give up our basic human rights.

They’ve got us so distracted– hoarding all the toilet paper and throwing rocks at each other–that we can’t even see how we’re all being played.  

And the sooner we realize that we have the power to create a world where we all thrive, the better we will be.

But here’s the catch (errr…I learned this one the hard way)–

Collective action, without the alignment of soul force, is exhausting.  

We aren’t designed to fight against anything.  

The Sacred Leaders of history were so powerful because of their energetic alignment with truth and love.  They fought with frequency first…so when they organized and took collective action…it was supercharged.

And that’s why the inner work that we do inside Sacred Rebellion is so important.  Without soul force–our collective action and our impact work…doesn’t stand a chance.
